Obie Adams, who once again has lost his homework, is doing his best to hide from Miss Dale, his English teacher, who is directing a serious production of "Dracula." If our weird (but likable) hero doesn't pass this year's English class, it's no diploma and, even worse, summer school! So Obie concocts a ridiculous tale involving the odd Mortimer Crank and his eerie housekeeper, Mrs. Dank. Mortimer has been changing animals into semi-humans, such as Feydor the dog-boy, Luana the panther-lady and... well, you get the picture. As his yarn goes, Obie has been studying detective work by mail and naturally saves the day, though his homework is digested in the process! Could Obie be telling the truth? The entire "Dracula" cast sure is engrossed in his tall tale. Monstrously funny characters and a musical score that includes "Cocoa and Goulash" and "Homework on the Menu." (Also available as a non-musical.) Children of the Night The House on Sycamore Hill Cocoa and Goulash Take a Chance Homework on the Menu
